Farrell Family

Farrell Family are a local, acoustic band based near Looe comprising Eddie (Dad), Catie (Daughter) and Frankie (Son). Formed in 2013, Farell Family specialise in singing radical songs from the English, US, Irish, Scottish and Cornish acoustic folk traditions.

Their first CD, The William Morris Songbook, named for the famous 19th-century designer and radical William Morris, is a collection of this kind of folk material dating from the 14th to the 21st centuries. The band are currently working on a new album of Irish material as well as a tribute CD by Eddie to the great American radical singer of the 1960s, Phil Ochs.
