Polperro Wreckers

Started as an afterglow group, who needed some hydration after a long choir practice, the Polperro Wreckers have been getting wrecked for nigh on 9 years now. The choir being the Polperro Fishermen’s Choir, which started 95 years ago, was staunchly Methodist. However, the Wreckers are all about letting their hair down, singing a mixture of Cornish, Shanty, Folk, and Sixties numbers, often with a pint in hand.

Their CDs are best sellers and have found homes all around the world and beyond, wherever they boldly go. Every CD sale, concert fee or donation goes to charity or a local good cause. The group have a lot of fun doing it and very much appreciate the support and generosity of their audiences.
