Stumbling across unexpected musical delights has become a staple activity during the LMF weekend and there’s no better way to fill your ears with an abundance of new music than with our resident BBC Music Introducing Stage.

Curated in partnership with BBC Music Introducing in Devon and Cornwall the stage showcases the region’s finest under-the-radar musicians, soon-to-be-superstar bands and the best new acts. Taking over the harbour the 2018 line-up is brimming with exciting new music.

Easing you through the afternoons, discover The Rowan Tree’s original approach to exploring traditional Celtic sounds or enjoy Stevie Neale, the Cornish lass who’s become a Spotify sensation with an impressive musical track record. A powerhouse voice that’s caught support from the likes of Zane Lowe and Annie Mac.

Blending his soulful voice with beautiful melodies and a blistering live band, Winter Mountain is fast becoming one of the UK’s most talked about singer-songwriters. Make sure you’ve secured your spot in the crowd when he takes to the stage.

After something a bit more rock? With exhilarating vocals, stadium-sized melodies and too many hooks to keep count of, Seven Cities need to be on your radar. Equally as loud, 4-piece rock band Sam Richardson and The Renegades will captivate you with tales of fugitives, redemption and desperation.

Firmly established on the festival circuit Auction for the Promise Club were showcased on LMF sands a few years ago. They’re a must-see band that are best experienced live. Guaranteeing a finale to remember on Sunday night Indie Pop quartet, Blue River merit your time and demand your ears.

Also taking to the BBC Music Introducing Stage are Hireth, Helm + the All Star Band, K-Lanta, Bronx Cheer, Hollie Rogers, The Viewers, Joe Chown and Andy Darlington.
