Fun Lovin’ Criminals Cornwall bound for LMF16

There’s going to be handfuls of ‘Scooby Snacks’ on the beach as the planet’s best-loved “Cousins from New York” the Fun Lovin’ Criminals are Cornwall bound to headline Looe Music Festival 2016 on Sunday 25th September.

Celebrating their 20th anniversary the US legends fronted by the charismatic Huey Morgan are, still, the world’s finest and only purveyors of cinematic hip hop, rock ‘n’ roll, blues-jazz, latino soul vibes and have an enviable reputation as a spectacular live band.

“Anybody who ever plays after us at a festival really does not like that spot,” so it’s a good job they’re the Sunday night headliners at Looe. “There are still people who know. If they’re looking at the flyer at a festival, ‘Dude! Fun Lovin’ Criminals are playing in a half hour.’ And those are our people. To get to them is why we make music.” And those lucky people who saw them play Glastonbury will know just what Huey Morgan is talking about.

One of the best late summer festivals, Looe Music Festival promises high energy, back-to-back beats on the beach and the chance to discover new musical acts whilst exploring the picturesque fishing port of Looe in South East Cornwall.

Over the weekend of 23rd -25th September 2016 festival-goers will be treated to over 90 bands across 5 stages and with the main stage right on the beach where flip flops, not wellies, are your must have footwear.

Fun Lovin’ Criminals is the first headliner announcement for Looe Music Festival 2016. Further headline acts and supporting line-up will be revealed in next few weeks.

Full price 3-day tickets for 2016 are £89.00 for adults, £25.00 for under 18’s and under 5’s go free. Day tickets are available at £40.00, allowing you to see your favourite band even if you can’t make the whole weekend.
