Reverend and the Makers Cornwall bound for LMF2017

Leaving Sheffield behind for Looe’s picturesque fishing port, Reverend and the Makers join the party at Looe Music Festival 2017.

They burst onto the scene in the early noughties with their debut single ‘Heavyweight Champion of the World’. Fronted by the outspoken Jon McClure, aka ‘The Reverend’, the band supported Oasis on their final tour and have been on the road with Arctic Monkeys.

Their fifth studio album, ‘Mirrors’ released in 2015 received critical acclaim from the likes of NME and Noel Gallagher for being the Makers’ best material to date. Supporting The Jesus and Mary Chain on Friday, Reverend and the Makers will be kicking off an electric weekend on the Cornish Coast.

Keeping the party going on Saturday, one third of the Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Uncle Frank is back with his own band. Made up of multi-instrumentalists Frank Benbini and Naim Cortazzi they’re ready to take the main stage by storm once again.

Festival favourites Tankus the Henge are back on the bill and ready to ruin the silence and disturb the seagulls. High on energy and deep on soul, if you’ve not seen them before their live shows are something to behold. Make sure you’re on the beach on Sunday.

Keeping the Harbour tent bouncing throughout the weekend is Balkan electro swing group, Mr Tea and the Minions and four piece blues band Dougie Burns and the Cadilacs.

For a Cornish getaway to remember book your tickets.
