Sham 69 back for Looe Music Festival 2016
“I’d come back in a heart beat if I could get away with it,” that’s what Tim V told us when Sham 69 played at Looe Music Festival back in 2013.
With Tim V taking over the mic in 2006 and Ian Whitewood celebrating 31 years behind the drums with Sham 69 the band have conquered much over the last 10 years delivering more shows and festivals (in more countries) than any previous line-up, cementing their worth worldwide. After a hugely successful world tour in 2015 the street punk legends are taking on the world, and Looe again, in 2016.
Sham 69 know just how rock a Looe crowd with songs such as If The Kids Are United, Hersham Boys, Borstal Breakout, Hurry Up Harry and Angels with Dirty Faces, as well as songs from their latest album It’ll End in Tears. Saturday 24th September is a Sham 69 show not to be missed.
